Sept 11 is THE date which affected everyone.
For me it has definitely changed my life in many ways.
It was a date which many remember for the courage and spirit of those who banded together in order to help others.
But I will never forget the seldom mentioned ugliness of mankind on 9/11.I do not refer to the terrorists (who should not ever be mentioned so no remnants of them are left in history), but to the individuals (civilians, military personnel, emergency, nypd, firemen.. etc.) who were looting, vandalizing, and busy taking memorable pictures for sale or personal collection.
How do I know? Cause I’ve seen them do so. It’s sad since their very actions tarnish the purity of those who gave all for others. There were also the stupid photographers who snuck past the guards to take pictures inside the body bags, the photographer caught dressed up as a cop, and the different organizations fighting each other for the prestige of being the saviors of 9/11. Money, power, and fame. Foundations for corruption.
I’m proud for what I was able to do for the following week and half afterwards tho’ I wish I could have done more at that time. I feel a lot of time, manpower and available resources was wasted instead of being well spent.
Which is why everytime I hear of 9/11, I feel pride, sorrow, pity, and especially anger.

Sometimes, you have a knack for putting life into perspective…
You should go out and kick some random ass. But seriously, for every shadow cast, there is a light behind it, can’t have one without the other. Don’t let shit like that bother you. Just strive to be better than them. But whatever, just go out and kick some random ass.
