  • My advice: Don’t scratch the middle finger. ;)

  • hahaha.. thats nothing… 4 mosquito bites all on my left elbow and one on my right elbow… they had a “thing” for elbow… =P and yes that guy left a weird comment lol

  • Hey Kinseeker,

I’m sorry I haven’t had a chance to reply to your Iraq post — I’m pretty busy with work these days.  I *wish* I had 2 credit fillers I could take…they’re offered but as independent research modules where you team up with a prof.  I don’t know about you but I’d rather do a 3 hour ‘brain dump’ exam than write a 30 page paper. :p

Hope the mosquitos leave you alone — use calamine to calm it down. :D

  • Bug bites on the knees are so annoying. I have one on my left knee. I can’t even kneel down and pick up stuff under the couch without it hurting.

  • Re: what to do in Toronto

    1. Since it’s summer there are a lot of festivals and events going on — I think “Summerlicious” is starting up (it’s where some of Toronto’s more upscale places provide a set lunch or dinner menu for $15-$25 — ie. 3 courses that would probably cost more if you walk in the door).  NB: the summerlicious menu is sometimes less than stellar (restaurants don’t want to provide a great meal for a cheap price and therefore scale back on portion size).  To see participating restaurants and menus: http://www.toronto.com/summerlicious

    2. Pride week is coming – parade and celebration of gays & lesbians.  (Have never attended this, but it seems to draw a crowd every year).

    3. The Art Gallery of Ontario

    4. The Royal Ontario Museum – this recently got a facelift and the grand opening of the new interior happened just 2 weeks ago (see Lee-chin crystal).

    5. LOL I don’t know.

  • I liked the phrase “hidden expiration date” to refer to our inevitable end.  On a sillier note:  taking a pic of the VP sleeping would be a waste of film!  Did you ever catch the video installation they had at the British Museum (I think it was there) of a 10 minute reel of Beckham sleeping? zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

  • Dude.

I’ve been bit on my eyelid and on the soles of my feet before.

You do not know irritation until you wake up and you cannot open your eye cause it’s bigger than golf ball sized.  Just be glad you don’t have that, or a bite on your foot that gets itchy with every step you take.
