How can the Mom be so sure that it’s not a sex hotline? Phone numbers change so fast and there are similar numbers one can mis-dial. One can still walk away and give his or her daughter privacy when it was ensured that the number is correctly dialed. Mm…

NB: I never understand when people say, “let your smile be your umbrella”…wouldn’t the smile be more like a boat that gets flooded with rainwater?
that song was ALL OVER. i’m serious. like, stores actually changed their packaging around that time–before that, they used to sell about four dango per stick or five, but then after that song, a whole bunch of them switched to three. XD life imitating art in the weirdest way…

The cyclist was on the sidewalk (which is illegal here in Canada as there’s a bike path…she had right of way to cross the street however as it was a red light.). Hopefully she’s doing a-ok wherever she is…
if a smile ( _/ ) were an umbrella it would catch water (as its pointed downwards whereas an umbrella is pointed upwards)…I’m not sure where I was going with that…it was just a stray thought on a common phrase
