  • So while driving to school the day before school starts, my alternator belt decided to snap off.
Sadly that meant no more cooling the engine and loss of power steering.

Fortunately I was driving straight and managed to pull over to the shoulder before my engine blew up.
Got to school at midnight…. and I left at 7pm-ish. Sigh.

At least I’m in one piece.

In the end, I managed to drive it off the exit and thr’ some miracle there was a Goodyear mechanic shop there.
That saved me the price of towing and more time.
Does cost me about $400 already and I haven’t even brought a textbook yet…

  • Replacing alternator belt: $400
    Time & aggravation: Free

    Living to tell: Priceless.

  • wtf 400 for an alternator belt???

  • Yes, it’s being still in one piece that’s the most important part. Hope your wallet is not hurting for long…

  • That totally sucks!  At least you were able to get into the shop in one piece.  Last year before we got a new car I was stranded at school several times because the ‘car died’…at least it didn’t happen after school started…!

  • i’m kind of just glad you’re still alive and unhurt, ok?

also you prolly don’t have jap text installed XD hence the ???????

don’t worry if you’ve never heard of him; i’d be amazed if anyone reading my xanga follows j-pop ^^;;;;;;; i just like this song of his? lyrics are kind of touching.
